Eleni Andrianopulu, Diploma in Translation and Linguistics, is the Deputy Director of the International Office of UNIBI, Head of the Welcome Centre / EURAXESS Service Centre, Scholars at Risk (SAR) institutional main representative and assistant to the vice-rector for International Affairs and Diversity. She has worked for the Executive Board and the Board of Trustees of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) (2006-2012) and is currently active as an assessor for the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers of the European Commission. Further, she is responsible for the monitoring of all 14 projects in the internationalisation and diversity strategy of UNIBI and has since 2015 a leading role in the development of these strategies, the development and the acquisition of third party funding in projects for refugees and international researchers at UNIBI, like Horizon2020 (BRiDGE and BRiDGE step II), Humboldt-Foundation (PSI 2nd and 3rd round), Mercator Foundation (Refugees), DAAD (STIBET-Doktoranden). She is an active member in the EURAXESS and SAR Germany Network and has given several presentations about refugee researchers from the perspective of a EURAXESS Service Centre.
