I am currently in charge of multiple projects managment (R&D and customer related) in a biotech company In Toulouse. I obtained my PhD in 2000 in Marseille, studying auto immune thyroid diseases in an academic lab (INSERM). I moved to the US where I was a post doctoral fellow during 3 years at the St Jude Resarch Hospital, Memphis, TN. I came back to France, in Toulouse, as a post doc fellow in a CNRS academic lab for 2 years and then as a contractual young researcher for another INSERM team for the next 3 years, before switching to the biotech world, where I have been working for 10 years now.
I have been implicated into various actions to promote the PhD since 2009, in order to stimulate and improve networking for the French community of doctors (CFD) in Toulouse, as part of the ANDès, the national association of doctors (PhD). Our mission is to develop ideas and actions to promote the PhD in the private sector, and to help career advancement for PhDs.
