Bérénice Kimpe studied foreign languages applied to business. After her education, she joined a training institute to be in charge of European programmes for socially disadvantaged young people, with the conviction that a professional experience abroad accelerates their personal development. She was then recruited by an association to promote the bilingual education in schools and thus increase the future employability of young people. Since Sept. 2009, she started working for ABG as French-German Branch Officer. Since 2015, she has enlarged her missions in Europe, which led to the creation of an International Department at ABG in 2017. As Head of this department, she is now in charge of setting ABG as a major European stakeholder in PhD career development by promoting ABG values, initiating collaborations with European organisations especially within EU-funded projects on PhD career development, facilitating networks or designing train-the-trainers sessions. She also represents ABG in the Euraxess network.
