Dilek Yildiz is a post-doctoral researcher at Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital in Vienna. She has completed her PhD on “Combining administrative data sources to estimate population counts” at University of Southampton, Department of Social Statistics and Demography. Before joining Wittgenstein Centre, she worked as a teaching assistant and as a researcher at University of Southampton during her studies. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at Hacettepe University where she completed her MSc in Economic and Social Demography. Her current research interests are in statistical demography with a focus on Bayesian population projections, migration estimates, and investigating on the use of big data sources.
