Justin Parkhurst is an Associate Professor of Global Health Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (the LSE). He is the author of 'The Politics of Evidence: from Evidence Based Policy to the Good Governance of Evidence' (Routledge 2017). The book is available free open access in electronic formats and was listed as one of the top science books of 2016 by The Guardian science writers. He directed the European Research Council funded Getting Research Into Policy in Health (GRIP-Health) programme of work from 2011-2016, and is currently the chair of the LSE Global Health Initiative. His research covers health and social policy issues, primarily in low and middle income settings.
