Prof. Rytis Maskeliunas currently works as a professor at Faculty of Informatics, Department of Multimedia Engineering and as a chief researcher at Centre of Real Time Computer Systems, at Kaunas University of Technology. He also works as R&D Project Manager at various companies concentrating on development and integration of various EU and local scientific research projects. He has coordinated / participated in multiple research projects in Computer Science domain and was involved in multiple EU COST actions. He is an author / co-author of over 100 refereed scientific articles and serves as Project evaluation expert for multiple scientific organizations, as a consultant for Eureka, Eurostars, Intelektas, SmartInvest calls and as a reviewer/committee member for various refereed journals. His main areas of scientific research are: multimodal signal processing, modeling, development and analysis of associative, sustainable, multimodal interfaces, mainly targeted at elderly and people with major disabilities.
