Cristina Silva Ferreira graduated at Lisbon University in Geography, Regional and Local Planning (1989); professionalized in Education (1991); specialized in Remote Sensing and GIS(1990); worked for an Environment Projects Company(1991/92); 1992 joined City Planning team at Loures Municipality; 1994 started working on GIS for local government; 1996 Head off Equipment/Infrastructure Planning Unit; 2004 established a Tourist Liveliness enterprise in the Alentejo Region and took office at Economic Activities of Grândola Municipality. 2006 invited to lead the Environmental Education Unit of the Green Spaces Department at Lisbon Municipality. Started a closer work to university researchers, bringing science to citizens on projects like “Biodiversity Route of Lisbon City”, “Environmental Education”(10,000 students/year), “Ornithology”, PERIURBAN Parks. Jully 2011 Head off Monsanto Forest Park Management and Maintenance. 2014 Lisbon application to the European Green Capital Award coordination; Lisbon Business Connection project (2015) executive manager, where started (2017) the Women in Business iniciative (WinB), leading until now (2018).
