After studying at the Polytechnic of Turin and the University of Bologna, in Italy, I obtained an MSc in Environmental Engineering. The focus of my MSc thesis was the valorization of two agro-industrial wastes for biogas production. Since December 2015, I am enrolled in a Marie Sklodowska-Curie European Joint Doctorate Programme called ABWET. The main aim of my research activity is to investigate the dynamic and distribution of trace elements in digestate deriving from different anaerobic digestion processes before land application of digestate.
Moreover, I am a member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) since December 2016. In MCAA, I am involved in the policy working group task force on refugees and higher education.
