Masters in Material Science & Engineering (2002), PhD in Polymers and Composite Materials (2005), both from National Institute of Applied Science (INSA), Lyon, France.
Leader of the EcoMaterials business unit in IRIS from 2009 till 2014 and now Head of the innovation Unit, since in IRIS, Elodie coordinated several European projects in the fields of bio-based packaging materials development, process monitoring and surface treatment.
She has an extensive previous R&D experience in the in chemical industry especially related to reactive polymer formulations: Arkema (ex. Cray Valley, 2002, Spain); Wacker Chemie (2002-2005, Germany and France); iii) Ashland (2006-2009, located sequentially in USA, Spain and France).
With a strong interest on innovation and sustainability, Elodie has been immersed in circular bioeconomy concepts for over 10 years contributing to environmentally-friendly process and product innovations in the industry and in the EU collaborative research arena. She has especially been involved in projects related to agro-waste valorisation, bio-based materials and their use in food packaging among others.
